A holistic view<\/em><\/strong> of the child<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I consider each child in as a whole<\/strong>, mobilize all stakeholders in their environment, and aim for an overall improvement in their life trajectory<\/strong>.

I respect the diversity of needs and backgrounds without judgment<\/strong> and prioritize attentive listening<\/strong> and a compassionate and deep understanding<\/strong> of situations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In partnership<\/strong><\/em> with parents<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I place parents at the heart of the intervention <\/strong>to guarantee its usefulness and relevance in the face of the difficulties encountered, to multiply its effects <\/strong>through their daily interactions with the child, and thus transform their educational experience<\/strong>.

Direct intervention with the child<\/strong> can be put in place as a supplement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I strive to offer balanced and realistic solutions<\/strong> based on scientific evidence<\/strong>, informed by observation<\/strong>, and taking into account the realities of everyday life.<\/strong>

In vivo experimentation<\/strong> and data collection<\/strong> are integral parts of my approach and allow me to adjust the tools put in place for greater efficiency.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Working with the child always relies on their interests<\/strong>, which are used as tools to facilitate learning. With a caring approach, my goal is to provide a trusting environment<\/strong> by valuing the unique strengths<\/strong> associated with their atypical brain development.

I adapt to each child<\/strong> and their specific relationship to school learning, offering varied activities<\/strong> and and adapted modes of interaction<\/strong>. This approach encourages active collaboration<\/strong> and shared psychological development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my approach, parents play a central role<\/strong>, in addition to the direct intervention with the child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the unique emotional relationship<\/strong> you have with your child, your in-depth knowledge of their particularities and environment<\/strong>, as well as the many daily interactions<\/strong> you share with them, you occupy a privileged position to become real catalysts of their development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You know better than anyone your child's specific needs, strengths, and challenges<\/strong>. Your participation in setting priorities<\/strong> will help guide the intervention's objectives based on your family's needs, the problematic situations experienced at home, and the skills you deem necessary for greater independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My goal is to provide you with concrete tools<\/strong> to better manage challenging behaviors and encourage adequate behaviors<\/strong> in your child. By teaching you how to effectively use natural reinforcers<\/strong> and to create numerous learning opportunities<\/strong> within daily routines, I ensure the overall consistency of the intervention<\/strong> across the child's various life contexts, as well as the generalization of learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although our work relies on close collaboration between you and me<\/strong>, it's important to remember that all psychological support requires your full involvement<\/strong>. Change, while essential, is never easy, and the regularity of sessions<\/strong> plays a key role in achieving lasting progress while maintaining your motivation. Regardless of the type or reason for your consultation, your commitment will be indispensable<\/strong> for progress to take root over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My work is carried out in a spirit of collaboration and multidisciplinarity with other health and education professionals<\/strong> involved with the child. I am committed to intervening only within the scope of my skills<\/strong> and, if necessary, to refer to or collaborate with other professionals, such as (neuro)psychologists, doctors, speech therapists, psychomotor therapists, or occupational therapists, as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
